CRASH: Pitchfork Wielding Islamophobe Mob Attacks Miss America

Betcha missed that headline, mostly because it never came close to happening.  Most Americans who give a rip about who Miss America is could not care less that the young beauty who won is Muslim.

Rima Fakih could easily be in some danger from people reacting to her celebrity and image, but they would likely be fellow Muslims of the Islamist ilk.

On the other hand, you very likely missed the headlines screaming about union mobs intimidating bankers, lobbyists, and invading banks.  What?  You haven't heard about that?

Great reason for that; they were UNION thugs and closely allied baby ACORN outfits.  See, there is this understanding, dating back many decades in America, that the press considers unions and community organizers part of their collective.  Harmless, if not beneficial.

Unions have been threatening, assaulting, burning, demolishing, destroying, and bombing forever...but always with a sort of blessing from the press and the political branch of the collective.  Nothing new.  See, it's OK, because they are "our people" to the collective.

I'm waiting for an incendiary denunciation from Mayor Bloomberg, Paul Krugman, Tom Friedman, and Charles Blow in 4...3...2...1...

Now, make stuff up from thin air, run it through the MSM echo chamber a few times, and pretty soon you have TEA Parties and imaginary Islamophobes threatening the very fabric of society...a tender-box of violence ready to explode.  Never mind those real explosions...

So the idea is that selecting a "Muslim" Miss America will make muslims like us better? Absurd. If this girl were in Saudi, Pakistan, Iran etc she would be publicly beaten as an infidel, offensive to the very people these bafoons think they are placating.

  2. I'm totally agnostic on why this beauty won her title. I hope it had nothing to do with PC stuff.

As you note, in most Islamic nations, she would be in deep trouble...worse than being an infidel.

But I read a blurb about her people back in Michigan, and how proud they all were of her, and how they felt this was a great thing for their community. No bad thing, IMNHO.
