BURN: Enjoy Your Boycott Black-out, Antonio

In a totally illegal and vacant move, the Lost Angels City Council voted to "boycott Arizona" in a fit of peek over the new immigration law.  Careful what you call for, Hispanderers.

Arizona doesn't seem like they are inclined to back down.  One of the guys who sits on the Arizona commission that regulates utilities is offering to help Antonio and his buds on the city council.

In a letter to LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Gary Pierce reminds hizzhonor that Arizona is the source of about 25% of LA's electrical power.  I bet they'd miss that if they were really serious about their boycott...which, of course, they are not.

Of course, the Arizona supporters' BUYcott is working wonderfully, since the law is supported by the vast majority of Americans.  But, hey, go for it, Antonio!  "Better to light a candle", and all that...

  1. Like the Austin "boycot", LA's measure is sound and fury signifying nothing - meaningless demagoguery.

  2. But, to the Collective, nothing is all you need.

    It's about how you feel...

  3. It would have been much nicer if the power companies had a shutdown of the transmission lines to L.A. for "routine maintenance" at 6:00 p.m. Friday night.
