BURN: Draw Mohamed Day

While agreeing with the estimable Ann Althouse that it's not good to offend for offense's sake, I feel it's an "I am Spartacus" moment in history.

My Muslim friends know me well enough to forgive any offense, which they know is not directed at them.  My Muslim enemies better get over it.

  2. Think I'll put a statue of Mohummad in a jar of urine, and get a grant from NEA for my artistic expression. Come n' get me Achmed.

  3. I'll be happy to help you with your NEA grant application. I'll even sign it...

  4. It's a weird paradox. This day is not directed at the modern, enlightened Muslims who wouldn't take offense to this. It's only directed at those who believe their prophet is above being the target of free speech. It's only directed at those who would be offended in the first place.

In any event, here is my entry for Everybody Draw Mohammed Day
